Mike Tran’s House Wonton Noodle Soup at Mein is a fusion of flavors from the places he’s lived in: Cambodia, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Chef Tran is a Cambodian-born refugee who found himself in Houston after the Vietnam War. He discovered his love for cooking through designing restaurants and now operates seven different Asian eateries, including Mein, his Hong Kong-inspired spot that takes him back to his Cantonese roots.
